Good bye 2016!

What a year 2016 has it been for all of us!

Our last year in the USA crowned Baeleigh Canadian Champion. Now my 3 Terrors, the littermates Baeleigh, Claire and Luther are all Canadian Champions.

The star of the year was once again Brooklyn. Brooklyn came back from maternal duties looking as gorgeous as ever and finished her Canadian Championship in a flash. From May to October she was entered to only 3 shows, 2 AKC shows in the USA and the Canadian National in Ontario, Canada. In May she was awarded Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at the Oshkosh KC show in Wisconsin. Mid September she was awarded a very special JAM -Judge Award of Merit - at the Canadian National in Stratford Ontario, two weeks later (beginning of October), at the Monroe KC (Michigan, USA) she was awarded again Winners Bitch and Best of Winners, this time for a 5pt major that gave her the qualification for Westminster. What a thrill!!!!

Two weeks later (mid October) we were back in Italy. Brooklyn did it again by winning CAC, CACIB and BOS; that well deserved and well awaited CAC was the last one needed to finish her Italian Championship. Wow, call it adrenaline rush!

Brooklyn had 3 fabulous results in 3 different countries over 2 different continents in only 1 month!

Needless to say, we went on vacation for the rest of the year!

Cheers 2016!!

A year in review: farewell 2015!

I can't believe another year has gone! The first year of us being back in the USA, what a change of scenario, in more ways than one...The year started very well with Jazz's last litter, 7 stunning puppies sired by our own Luther. Jazz has proven to be a super mom with her previous two litters, and now we are very happy to know that Luther is a great sire, one that passes his many qualities to his progeny. Brooklyn started off her Canadian show career by going winner bitch at the first, and last,  show she attended, what a star she is! Not long after the show she had 9 cracking puppies sired by the handsome Simon - Can. Gr, Ch. Linirgor Must Be Love, 2 RCC. I've been planning this litter since 2013, when I first saw Simon in England and I knew we would relocate to the USA. The puppies were all equally beautiful and brilliant, the choice was hard. Finally we kept a puppy girl, 1st Class New York State of Mind, or Harlem for friends and family. In June, Luther and I flew back to Italy for the World Dog Show. Luther was entered along with Paride - 1st Class Angus Mc Og - that lives in Italy. Both boys did me very proud, Luther was shortlisted among the last 6 dogs of his class, Paride ended up 4th. Not a shabby result, considering the big wigs we left behind :-) In August, Luther, Claire and I hit the road to Calgary, Alberta, for the Canadian National. It took 3 days of driving to get to our destination, but it was well worth it: great place, great organization, and few good results that brought us points towards the Canadian championships. In fact both Luther and Claire are now Canadian Champions.
All the best to our friends and family, may 2016 be as full of surprises as its predecessor!

Farewell 2014!

Multi Ch. 1stClass Bella Gioventu' @ Crufts

Multi Ch. 1stClass Bella Gioventu' @ GRCA National

Never a dull moment with the 1stClass family! Brooklyn kept on surfing along the winning wave started in 2013, put more CACIBs and CACs and BoB winnings under her belt, finished up few championships and showed her socks off on the Crufts' green carpet in England.

Jazz's and Madison's stunning puppies started their show career with a bang. Luther and Claire are both Junior Champions in three different European countries, Paride, although shown sparingly was always in the cards, and Sophia The Italian Princess that took residency in England (www.wynrita.co.uk) not only was always placed at every show she attended, but got Crufts qualified at one of her first outings.
In October we relocated to the USA, what a biblical move this was! Two weeks in country and we were already traveling to the GRCA National where Brooklyn did me proud once again!
Now a little bit of rest to recharge our batteries for the new year. Roll on 2015!

Goodbye 2013!!!

Brooklyn 2BOG in Zagreb

Another year has come to and end we can honestly say that it won't be missed! Looking back at it, we had few moments that can't go unnoticed: Brooklyn did very good: 2x2BOG, 1x3BOG, 4 BOB, 1 BOS, 2 CACIB, 5 CAC, 2 RCAC; got qualified to Crufts 2014 two times in 3 weeks and she finished her International Championship in style. What a girl!! Jazzmeen and Madison accomplished their maternal duties superbly. Jazz had 8 beautiful babies, 4 girls and 4 boys, by Logan and Madison, not to be undone by her "sister" had another 8 beautiful babies by Manolo, 4 girls and 4 boys as well. The litters were born only 2 days apart and the puppies had a ball growing up and playing all together. All the puppies were stunning, they were exactly how I thought they would be and it was very hard to choose the ones that were going to stay. They all went to enrich the life of lovely families and we are very grateful to them for spoiling our puppies rotten! Sam turned 9 and she is still the most mischievous, ingenious and versatile of the gang. A great team player, a fantastic life instructor for the puppies, and the undiscussed leader. Last, but not least, and surely the first one in my heart, the one I think about every single moment of my life, MY Wellington, my shadow, the one that never leaves my side.. We are soooo looking forward the New Year!

Review of a year: 2012

Brooklyn & Mr. Frank Kane -UK-

2012 has been a good year for us: At last, Wellington was crowned International Champion C.I.E. He now sports two International titles, obtained in two different continents (Europe and the USA), that make him one of the very few Goldens in history to have accomplished such thing. We are so proud of our Peewee! ************************************************************************************************************************* Madison was finished in Montenegro, and she is only one CACIB away from her International title. She was BOB two times and BOG one time. ******************************************************************************************************************************** Brooklyn is proving to be a real showgirl. At 10 months old she won best junior and BOB under breed specialist Mr. Dario Milosevic (HR), and the following week she won best junior again under breed specialist Mrs. Jo Naylor (UK). These, along with her debut at the WDS in Paris, were the highlights of 2011.***** In 2012 she was always in the cards at every show she attended, these were the highlights: April 2012: CAC e BOS Golden clubshow Argelato, judge Mr. Mario Migliarini, intermediate class****** Jun 2012: 1 ecc intermediate class, Internazionale Orvieto, judge Mr. L. Pichard (FRA)******** Aug2012: 1 ecc intermediate class, Internazionale Gorizia, judge Mr. Bodegard (S)******* Sept 2012: 1 ecc intermediate class, Clubshow Monza. judge Mr. Frank Kane (UK)****** Nov 2012: open class, 1 RCAC, 1CAC, 1RCACIB, double CACIB Zagreb ***** Dec 2012: open class, CAC, CACIB e BOS, Internazionale Verona judge Mr. V. Kardos (H) ******************************************************************************************************************************* The year certainly ended with a bang! See you all in 2013.
