Our Story

I grew up among hunting dogs, my father always had Irish Setters or Springer Spaniels; Dale's family had Collies and German Shepherds. When I was 18 a beautiful sweet German Shepherd puppy, Guenda, entered my life and she became a big part of it for the following 12 and 1/2. Dale and I met when Guenda was 5 and she soon became his baby. Our Golden adventure started much later. In 2004 we were in South Korea and Samantha boisterously jumped into our lives. Her arrival was purely a fluke, little did we know, she totally changed our life. Thanks to Sam and to her emblematic personality we fell in love with this awesome breed, and the passion of a lifetime had begun... Wellington - Multi Ch. Stonedale Weekend Lover CCA - arrived in October 2005. He was Sam's first birthday present and they immediately became best buddies. Breeding is an art, and I am very fascinated by it. My aim is to breed Goldens true to type, as close as possible to the breed standard, both in temperament, construction and movement. I like a glamorous dog with a profuse coat, long neck and dead level topline. I like a well angulated dog, but never overdone, I like an elegant, balanced dog, a sound mover, with a well chiseled head and a melting expression. I like a dog to be fit for function and that can quickly adapt to different situations. We are members in good standing of the Golden Retriever Club of England, the Italian Retrievers Club, the Golden Retriever Club of America and of the Fort Detroit Golden Retriever Club.
PeeWee is the perfect Golden, sweet, smart, always willing to please. He is my shadow.
Wellington introduced me to the show world and since this happened I am changing cars more often!
